Allen started in the shop as a Saturday boy when he was 10 years old. He then attended Smithfield College for 2 years. This was followed by 2 years with an International Wholesale firm. The call of the family business eventually proved too strong and he has been in the shop ever since!
Tom joined us early in 2015 and is a fully qualified chef. He has previous experience working at Penny Hill Park Hotel and has recently returned from chefing on yachts out in Antigua. Tom has decided to focus on a career in butchery and is currently learning the trade.
John joined the shop in the early 90's. He also comes from a butchery background and has worked in several retail outlets in the area. He was made a Director in 1999 and has helped the business develop into the New Millennium.
Oliver started with us as a 13 year old Saturday boy and follwoing being a full time apprentice, Oliver is now a full time butcher. He has completed his NVQs in Butchery all with distinctions. He also made it to the final 20 in 'The Young Butcher of The Year' on BBC 3 in 2010.
